Terms and Conditions
Here is a guide to the terms and conditions of commissioning a Wedding in Graphite album. Ultimately, I want you to be 100% happy with your service and album, so whatever issues may arise, we can work together to resolve them.
Wedding in Graphite Guarantee
I want you to be absolutely thrilled with your album, so if you are not completely satisfied for any reason, we can discuss the issues and come to a resolution. Before sketching begins, we will discuss any special request you have and I offer the opportunity to preview three sketches before completing your album to get your feedback. I only dispatch your finished album when you have confirmed you’re completely happy with it.
Pricing and Payments
Prices are shown in sterling. Payments can be made via Internet bank transfer (BACS) or via PayPal – details of payment methods will be included in your commission invoices.
I charge a non-refundable 20% deposit following acceptance of your album commission, before you provide your photographs. The balance is payable on completion of your album prior to its dispatch. You receive photographs of three sketches to ensure you are 100% happy with them before completing your album and accepting the balance payment.
I am not VAT registered.
In the event of a price rise, I will always honour the price shown on the website at the time an album is commissioned – this being once I have received your wedding photographs and the 50% deposit has been cleared.
Providing wedding photographs
I accept both digital and print photographs. We discuss the best options for providing your wedding photographs at the beginning of the commission. If your photographs are digital, you can provide them on either a CD, USB memory device or by email using an online file-sharing service such as WeTransfer or Dropbox. I can also access your photographs if they are included in your wedding photographer’s online gallery. If they are in print format, we can discuss the most suitable delivery options. For all postal deliveries, please use insured and tracked options such as Royal Mail’s Next Day Special Delivery. You are responsible for the safe dispatch of your wedding photographs, including postal costs. If I suspect your parcel has been damaged in transit, I will contact you immediately. I will be sure to take good care of your photographs whilst in my possession. All digital storage devices and print photographs will be returned with your completed album.
Delivery of your Wedding in Graphite album
Your album will be packed to a high standard and posted using a reputable courier. Cost of delivery is included in your price of your album package. If you suspect the parcel has been damaged in transit, please do NOT open it and get it touch immediately. If your album were to be lost in transit, a full refund or replacement will be offered. If your album arrives damaged, I will work to resolve the issues if possible, and offer a full refund or replacement if the damage is irreparable.
As customers of Weddings in Graphite, I only collect personal information that is necessary to process commissions as requested. All personal details, contact details and wedding photographs are kept strictly confidential. If you’d like to read full legal terms and disclaimers for the website including use of submitted information and cookies, please take a look at website privacy page.
Copyright for customers of Weddings in Graphite
As the artist of Weddings in Graphite, I retain full copyright on all album sketches and portraits I produced and reserve the right to use them for promotional material. If you would rather not have your album sketches, portrait or testimonial displayed on the website or social media, please make this clear upon ordering your commission. I am happy for all customers of Weddings in Graphite to use their album sketches and portraits for non-commercial purposes, but I do kindly request you contact me to seek permission prior to making any print reproductions, as clearly stated on your Certificate of Authenticity. You are welcome to share photographs of your album and portrait on social media, just don’t forget to include a link to the Lives in Graphite website!
